Kiwi Carlos Ulberg has taken just 12 seconds to knockout American Alonzo Menifield in the UFC Octagon and immediately turned his sights on video game creators EA Sports.
Riding a five-fight winning streak since his debut defeat in 2021, the City Kickboxing fighter has extended that run to six and will enter the light-heavyweight rankings for the first time, after dispatching his 11th-ranked rival in double-quick time.
First, he has a score to settle with someone else outside the cage.
"I know I'm ranked now, but I've got a bone to pick," said Ulberg. "EA Sports, you better put me on the game, because I want to be playing the game with myself on there."
The latest and fifth version of EA Sports UFC will be officially released in September - it currently does not feature Ulberg, but it does include Menifield.
Their encounter was over quickly, as the American rushed at 'Black Jag' from the start, connecting once, but as the Kiwi stepped aside, he caught his opponent off balance and had him in trouble on the ground, when the fight was stopped.

Twelve seconds makes this the third-fastest knockout in UFC light-heavyweight history.
"We knew, coming up against a guy like Alonso Menifield, to be careful of his power," said Ulberg. "He's got a lot of power, explosive, and as long as I stuck to the gameplan...
"We knew he was going to come forward, so I just had to do what I had to do. We did expect something like that - he did catch me and that woke me up, and when you wake a lion up, he comes out."
Ulberg, 33, stopped short of singling out a future rival, but chose to take aim at everyone and anyone ranked ahead of him.
"Anybody in that top 10, I'll destroy anybody in my way. Nothing but making my way to the top - that's it."
The light-heavyweight division is currently topped by Brazilian Alex Pereira, who toppled Kiwi Israel Adesanya from his middleweight perch in November 2022, before losing the rematch and moving up a weight class.
