Three of the DStv Premiership heavyweights Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns will be without key players.

Three of the DStv Premiership heavyweights, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, will be without key players for their league matches at the weekend.

Bafana Ba Style will take on Royal AM at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday, 11 May, with kick-off set for 15:00.

In Soweto, Buccaneers will battle it out with relegation-threatened side, Richards Bay FC at Orlando Stadium also on Saturday at 20:00.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi will lock horns against AmaZulu FC on Sunday, 12 May at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. The game will start at 17:30.

The three teams will be without the services of some of their key players for the upcoming DStv Premiership showdowns at the weekend due to suspensions.

THE SUSPENDED PLAYERS FROM THE THREE TEAMS

Sundowns have two players suspended for their game against Thwihli Thwahla. The two players are Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams [who accumulated four yellow cards] and defender Mosa Lebusa, who received a red card against Golden Arrows last night.

Pirates will be without the talented midfielder Thalente Mbatha, who’s living up to his name. He will miss the Richards Bay match due to the four yellow cards he accumulated.

On the other hand, the Glamour Boys will go head-to-head with AmaZulu without Edmilson Dove and Brandon Petersen, who received red cards against TS Galaxy this past Tuesday. Also, Given Msimango, miss out on the Usuthu game due to a red card he received against the Brazilians last week Thursday.

Chiefs will be hoping to cement their top-eight spot, whereas the Sea Robbers will be gunning for a win in their quest to qualify for the CAF Champions League.
