Where Kentucky recruits landed in the new On3 player rankings
High school basketball season is quickly approaching, which means it is time for recruiting rankings updates from the services across the country.
One of the first services to get some updated players rankings is On3 as Jamie Shaw ranked the class of 2025.
The Kentucky Wildcats have three commitments in the class at the moment, and the future Cats saw some success in the latest update by Shaw. Leading the way is Jasper Johnson (No. 24), followed by Malachi Moreno (No. 32), and Acaden Lewis (No. 50). All three players landed in the four-star status according to Shaw.
Mark Pope has got off to a great start in the high school recruiting ranks and is still involved with several top players in the class, including Caleb Wilson (No. 6), Chris Cenac (No. 4), Nate Ament (No. 3), Brayden Burries (No. 12), and Mikel Brown (No. 18).
As the Cats seem to be trending as the favorite for Wilson while also entering the mix late for Samis Calderon, who is considered a 4-star prospect by Shaw and the No. 63 player in the class.
We will see some more shifts in these rankings over the next few months. Take notes now BBN, and let’s see if these commits and recruits can rise.
