Meghan Markle Could Still Have a Suits Reunion, Costar Hints

Meghan Markle said "she'd love to come and help in any way possible" after being invited on a Suits podcast to reunite with her former costars.

Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross, and Sarah Rafferty, whose character was Donna Roberta Paulsen, have been capitalizing on new interest with their show, Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast.

And, during an appearance on Today, Adams revealed they invited Meghan to come on as a guest and got a "lovely text message" in reply.

He said: "When we first decided to do the podcast, we wanted to reach out to everybody, to say what our intentions were, why we were doing it, what we were not interested in doing: gossiping or telling anyone else's story.

"Meghan was one of the first to respond with a lovely text message saying that she'd love to come and help in any way possible."

The speed of Meghan's reply and her positivity appear to suggest Suits fans may be treated to a rare reunion featuring the duchess, who has not showed up with other cast members at recent events.

Adams, Rafferty, Gabriel Macht and Gina Torres all met at the Golden Globes in January and let slip there was a group chat for the cast but Meghan was not part of it.

"We don't have her number," Torres said at the time. "We just don't. So she'll see, she'll watch. She'll be happy that we're here."

But now, it seems, they are back in touch, and Suits fans will no doubt be pleased to see Meghan interacting with her old castmates if she does become a guest on the show.

"I think the onus is on us to build a podcast that is good and successful [that] people are listening to and find our rhythm," Adams told Today. "Then we're gonna bring people onto it so they feel safe to tell their story."

It comes after Meghan decided not to relaunch her career as an actor following her return to America with Prince Harry in 2020.

Instead, the couple set up Archewell Productions which has so far released one autobiographical blockbuster, Harry & Meghan, which retold the story of their royal exit, and two less high profile shows, Live to Lead and Heart of Invictus.

A fourth show, Polo is due for broadcast in December and Meghan also has a cooking show in the pipeline.
