Whitesnake legend Bernie Marsden's career celebrated in new book

A new book celebrating the glorious career of late-great Whitesnake legend Bernie Marsden has been announced.

‘Celebrating Bernie Marsden’ is a 300-page, 300mm square book from Rufus Publications that has been put together with the blessing of Bernie Marsden’s family.

The coffee table sized book boasts a wealth of photographs and memorabilia from Bernie’s years with Whitesnake, plus his tenures with UFO, Cozy Powell’s Hammer and Paice Ashton Lord, and as a revered solo artist in his own right.

‘Celebrating Bernie Marsden’ boasts written contributions from a number of musicians including Whitesnake leader David Coverdale, Doug Aldrich, Deep Purple’s Ian Paice and Don Airey, and Toto’s Steve Lukather.

Rufus Publications also notes that the book with touch upon Bernie Marsden’s special relationship with Steelhouse Festival.

Costing £130 and limited to just 300 copies globally, ‘Celebrating Bernie Marsden’ is available to pre-order from Rufus Publications’ website now and ships at the end of May. The book is discounted by 10% if pre-ordered by 28th February 2025.

The profits from this publication will be donated to Bernie’s favoured charity, The Trussell Trust, it’s hoped that it will raise well over £10,000.

Bernie Marden sadly died in August 2023 at the age of 72.

Following his passing, the main stage at Planet Rockstock was renamed the Bernie Marsden Stage in his honour, and Steelhouse Festival 2024 opened with a BernieFest tribute day.
