Man United vs. Atletico Madrid live score, updates, highlights from Champions League round of 16
Manchester United take on Atletico Madrid with a place in the Champions League quarter-finals at stake.
The first leg in Spain last month ended all square at 1-1, with a late Anthony Elanga goal cancelling out Joao Felix's opener. Of course, with the lack of an away-goals rule this season, it leaves tonight's tie here at Old Trafford delicately balanced.
United come into the game off the back of a morale-boosting 3-2 Premier League victory over fellow top-four chasers Tottenham Hotspur, with Cristiano Ronaldo delivering a hat-trick.
The Portuguese icon, buoyed by that performance which flew in the face of recent criticism, will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing Atleti. He's scored 25 goals in 36 previous games against Los Rojiblancos.
The Red Devils will be reliant on him for the Champions League-winning experience, with Ronaldo eyeing an unlikely, record-breaking sixth European crown. He is undoubtedly the man for the big occasion, and will draw on previous famous match-winning displays at this stage - such as against Atleti in March 2019, when he single-handedly overturned a 2-0 deficit.

Atleti, still the reigning champions of Spain, are enduring perhaps their most difficult season under Diego Simeone to date. With his European pedigree in masterminding tight victories and impressive defensive displays on the road, the Argentinian will hope to provide some respite from domestic struggles which see his side 15 points off local rivals Real Madrid.

Man United vs. Atletico Madrid live updatesFULL-TIME: Atletico are through to the Champions League quarter-finals!
94th min: De Gea up for a corner in the last minute... and it goes straight into the hands of Oblak.
91st min: Four minutes of added time for United to snatch an unlikely leveller.
90th min: Felix, who has been brilliant tonight in his relentless running up top, is off for Felipe.
87th min: Dalot picks up a yellow for denying an Atleti counter with a cynical, necessary foul, as the Red Devils continue to struggle for any chances whatsoever. Fans are beginning to leave.
83rd min: After Dalot fires another long-range effort just wide, Mata is on for Maguire. That substitution gets a whole lot of cheers from the home fans.
81st min: Geoffrey Kondogbia is on to provide some fresh energy in midfield for the Spanish giants, in place of the silky Koke. Elsewhere, Felix wins a free-kick and stays down, with Matic's temper boiling over. This is exactly what Simeone wants. Another minute or so wasted.
76th min: Fred - who has been the Red Devils' star man tonight - is off for Cavani. Playing up against compatriot Gimenez, can the Uruguayan striker make himself a United hero?
74th min: Just like it did towards the back end of the first half, this encounter is drifting away - and that's exactly how Los Rojiblancos like it. Lots of the ball for United in the middle third, but no cutting edge whatsoever. The substitutes have had little impact so far.
68th min: Triple substitution by Rangnick, trying to rescue this sinking ship. Pogba, Rashford and Matic are on for Fernandes, Elanga and McTominay.
62nd min: Unlike United, when Atleti break they look like they can score. A lovely back-to-front counter cuts through the heart of the United team with one pass, before a cross from the left flank narrowly eludes Felix's outstretched leg.
60th min: A long cross from the right makes it to Sancho, at a difficult angle on the left, who blasts his effort high and wide. It comes to nothing, but gives the increasingly-restless United fans something to get excited about.
58th min: United are devoid of ideas here. Atletico are defending superbly, creating a barricade around the edge of the area and not allowing the hosts anywhere near a presentable chance. Long-range attempts are blocked, and high, lofted through balls go to the arms of Oblak. Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani are warming up, and will be needed sooner rather than later.
52nd min: Felix harries Maguire and has the United centre-back twisting and turning uncomfortably, before De Gea gets the ball barely out of the area, only to invite another shot on target. The momentum is firmly with Simeone's men now.
47th min: First chance of the half goes to United, and it's Elanga who takes on his man on the right edge of the area and then flashes an effort across goal.
46th min: The second half is underway, with no changes at the break. Marcus Rashford is warming up, however.
HALF-TIME: It's 1-0 to the visitors at the break, and a smattering of boos from the Red Devils supporters to send the players in.
46th min: All avenues for United are closing, forcing a long-range effort from Fernandes which at least gets the fans off their seat after a really poor last 15 minutes.
42nd min: Atletico had just been showing signs of a foothold in the game, keeping possession solidly in a dull last few minutes. They've handled the early United pressure and now have the tie exactly where they want it.
Renan Lodi gives Atleti the lead on the counter!
