Marcus Rashford has 'taken responsibility' for missing training at Manchester United on Friday after going to a Belfast nightclub the night before.
Rashford and his agent brother Dwaine Maynard held talks with manager Erik ten Hag on Monday, and the club issued a statement saying: 'Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.'
Sources say that Rashford has returned to training and is in contention to play at Wolves on Thursday.
Ten Hag had said that he would 'deal with' Rashford after the Manchester United star missed Sunday's FA Cup win at Newport County.
The official reason for Rashford's absence from United's 4-2 win at Rodney Parade was given as illness after Ten Hag said the player felt unwell on Friday morning.

Rashford had been seen entering Belfast night club Thompsons Garage earlier on this week
But the United boss also confirmed that it was 'an internal matter' following allegations Rashford was in Thompsons Garage nightclub on Thursday night before flying back to Manchester on a private jet early on Friday and then missing training.
'He reported ill. For the rest, it's an internal matter. I deal with it,' said Ten Hag, repeating the message several times before and after the match.
Asked if it is another example of the 'no good culture' he previously claimed to have inherited at United, the Dutchman added: 'I don't go in this case, I've talked before about it. I think we played a good game and now we move on.'
Ten Hag publicly reprimanded Rashford over his 'unacceptable' behaviour in October for going to Manchester nightspot China White to celebrate his 26th birthday hours after United had lost the Old Trafford derby to Manchester City.

He also dropped Rashford at Wolves last season when the player, who signed a new £315,000-a-week contract in the summer, was late for a team meeting.
The latest episode was in danger of embarrassing Ten Hag and United who initially responded to video footage of Rashford entering Thompsons Garage by saying that they had been told it was taken on Wednesday night, which was acceptable because he had a day off on Thursday.
