All of Meghan Markle's Invictus Games 2022 outfits: Valentino to Khaite
Meghan Markle is back in Europe — and dressed to impress.
Making their first trip across the pond together since stepping down as senior members of the royal family in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are front and center at the 2022 Invictus Games in The Hague, Netherlands.
The event, which 37-year-old Harry founded in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick service members, holds a special place in the couple’s hearts; back in 2017, they made their first public appearance together at the Games, with Markle memorably dressed in distressed denim and a white button-up shirt by pal Misha Nonoo.
Now, half a decade later, the 40-year-old duchess is showcasing her post-royal style at the same sporting event, having seemingly landed on a happy medium behind the more conservative outfits she leaned on during her time as a member of the monarchy and the California-cool casual fare she’s always gravitated toward.
Below, see all the looks Markle’s worn at this year’s Invictus Games thus far.
Power suitOn April 15, the Duchess of Sussex suited up for her arrival in The Hague, wearing a white double-breasted blazer ($3,500) and matching tailored trousers ($1,540) by Valentino.
She carried a studded chain-strap bag ($3,400) from the same label, and also wore Aquazzura pumps, her gold Cartier Tank watch, a whisper-thin Catbird hand bracelet ($238), a Sophie Lis pendant necklace ($374) and a Shiffon “Duet” pinky ring ($595).
Camel chicThe Sussexes greeted members of Team UK and Team Canada on April 16, with Markle opting for another monochromatic moment. She wore a Ralph Lauren Collection “Leonarda” cashmere coat ($5,290), along with a knit turtleneck and pants in the same shade.
Back in bluesTo attend the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge, the duchess returned to her beloved denim, polishing up a pair of faded Moussy Vintage jeans ($350) and white tee with a black tweed Celine jacket ($3,500) and chain-handled “Triomphe” bag ($2,800).
She finished off the look with cap-toed Chanel ballet flats, Linda Farrow aviator sunglasses ($945) and starburst-shaped earrings from pal Serena Williams’ jewelry line.
Two-tone treatMarkle closed out her second day in the Netherlands by praising her “incredible husband” onstage at the Games’ opening ceremony. For the occasion, she paired an off-the-shoulder, cream-colored Khaite bodysuit ($780) with slim black trousers, polka-dotted Manolo Blahnik pumps ($895) and a diamond-accented Cartier “Juste Un Clou” necklace ($15,200).
Buckle upOn April 17, the duchess once again donned denim — along with an ivory belted Brandon Maxwell jacket ($2,195), Manolo Blahnik “BB” pumps ($665) and her Shiffon pinky ring.
Red lip ladyFor an April 17 reception, Markle paired a white laser-cut Valentino minidress ($6,000) with a bold red lip and sleek side-parted curls, reminding many fans of her pre-duchess, “Suits”-era style.
