PepsiCo announces new c-suite appointments
PepsiCo ANZ CEO, Kyle Faulconer, will also be responsible for the company’s IndoChina Foods business, the company announced today. Two new general manager roles have been created to support the change.
Faulconer moved from the US business in November 2021, with PepsiCO APAC CEO and chief commercial officer, Wern-Yuen Tan saying his leadership has “driven the business to new heights”.
“Kyle has identified new growth platforms that have enabled portfolio and channel expansion, as well as stronger capabilities including marketing transformation and demand acceleration.
“With a people-first approach, Kyle has also personally invested a significant amount of time into talent development, empowering teams and facilitating growth opportunities,” said Tan.
The two new GM roles are GM, AU Foods and GM ANZ Beverages.
PepsiCo Australia chief commercial officer, Alexia Horley, takes on the GM, AU Foods position. Horley will have end-to-end responsibility for the Australian foods business.
She has been with the company for 18 years and held a number of leadership roles here and in Asia.
Most recently she has led the commercial agenda delivering strong category growth and channel expansion, together with leading the transformation of our commercial capabilities including the digital and data agenda and accelerating eCommerce, the company said.
“Horley has also been instrumental in driving ‘better for you’ product innovation and partnering with customers in this space to deliver more choice to Australian consumers.”
Pepsico ANZ CFO, Stephan Anderson, will have the additional title of GM, ANZ Beverages. He will lead the finance functions across ANZ Foods and Beverages and will also be responsible for the entire ANZ Beverage business.
Anderson joined the company in mid-2022.
“Anderson has transformed the finance function by introducing innovative digital solutions and elevating the business partnering capabilities of his team. He has also played a pivotal leadership role within the beverage business by enhancing relationships with bottling partners and ensuring the successful launch of bubly last year, the first new brand PepsiCo has launched, since operating in Australia,” the company said.
Faulconer added, “Alexia and Stephan are valuable members of the leadership team and I’m thrilled they are stepping in to these new roles. I have no doubt they will be strong leaders for our food and beverage businesses, and I look forward to working with them to continue to successfully drive PepsiCo forward and set us up for future success.”
The appointments are effective immediately.
