Stuart Hogg 'keen' to make rugby return as he responds to story
Stuart Hogg has responded to a story suggesting he could make a return to rugby, saying: "I'm keen".
The 31-year-old hung up his boots in July 2023, just a few months before Scotland were due to play in France at the Rugby World Cup. An emotional Hogg explained that his body had not been able to do the things he "wanted and needed to do".
However, despite this, the former Exeter Chiefs full-back previously revealed to The Big Jim Show podcast that he could potentially make a return to the game.

"Will I play professionally again? Probably not," explained Hogg to host Jim Hamilton.
"Could I have taken a sabbatical? Maybe I could have. But the decision now is that I am retired and I stand by that. Physically and mentally I wasn’t there.
"I think I’ll play, (but) I don’t think I’ll play professional. I might have a little run-out for Hawick next season and see how that goes."
A new story, referencing Hogg's potential willingness to make a rugby return and his impressive physical appearance, was posted online over the weekend, with Hogg responding. He posted the story to his Instagram with the caption: "Awesome, who's signing me up then? I'm keen, 100 percent."
Hogg has been working as a TV pundit for TNT Sports since his retirement but has been absent from screens since being arrested and charged following an incident at his former family home in Hawick back in March. He has since spent time in a rehabilitation centre, issuing a long statement recently. Hogg is due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court in the near future.
He has recently been holidaying in Antalya with partner and ITV racing pundit Leonna Mayor.
